Panzer Corps 2 will not allow update

When I use the update function I come to a screen that says:

Downloading:Panzer Corps 2-Multi Update-v01.00.06.exe from update3.matrixgames.com
Creating Handle

That ultimately results in an error screen which reads as follows:

Unable to download file.
An error occured while trying to open an FTP file.

From this screen my options are to select "Back" and try the process again which I have done several times to no avail or I can select "Cancel" which cancels the process.

The problem is that when I try to login to the PBEM++ to play my games it will not allow me to do so because I lack the update ...

Please help me to fix this problem ASAP. Thanks,

ps I tried to attach the screen captures that I made of this issue but your software would not allow me to attach a word file.

Login to your Slitherline 'My Page' and download it manually.
It's the same account name and password as here, but does require a separate login.
I had the same problem.

To attach a file it has to be a .jpg , or .zip/.rar, it saves their server disk space.

Unfortunately I have encountered the same problem today. The game says that there is a new version and won't let me login to it until I upload - of course the game update button does not work as noted previously but this time when I went to "My Page" in Slitherine there was no link for the newest version .07...

This is a bit frustrating since I only just bought the game (Panzer Corps 2 Field Marshall Edition) about a week or so ago and have already been required to update to version .06 on 3-27-2020 and now am locked out of the online game since I cannot get version .07 ...

I even went to update3.matrixgames.com but get a message that there is no content ...

Anybody have any other ideas to get around this snag?

Agree - can't find version .o7 anywhere and no answers to the tech postings.

Hopefully soon, sounds like someone found it, perhaps via Steam?

My nephew in law who purchased the game about the same time I did a little over a week ago said that he had to manually update to version .06 (like I did) but noticed that .07 is his current version and he did nothing to have it updated. I tried rebooting my computer to see if maybe that was the problem but still no luck and as yet no word from Slitherine or Matrix Games. They really need to implement a better update system than this or hold off on updates for a very long time in between because this business of being locked out of a game two times in less than two weeks since date of purchase is very poor customer service.

EDIT - IT WAS THERE ON MY "MY PAGE" DOWNLOADED AND INSALLED - Haven't played but a quick check shows it is now version 1.07 and scenario names appear again back.

Ok I'll try again, tried to find it on my page several times including about 20 minutes ago and it was not there. Will do again

Sorry if this is wrong place but im so frustrated i am playing panzer corps 2, my question is why cannot upgrade my German aircraft from bf109 or stuke dive bomber to somthing else? There is the option to upgrade but there is no upgrade help please

one is a fighter and one is a dive bomber, to upgrade something it has to be the same type and 2, there has to be something else also out at the time of the update, if not it's blank
