MP, not as smooth as OoB..

.. at the moment. I started a Husky 2vAI (I posted it) and sent it the first turn, at least I might have done. Egg Timer goes round and round for a while and remains greyed out. That's it, I'm still looking at the map 30 minutes later. I see others are having problems too, so is MP working and I just need to keep trying, or is it a nice idea that is for the future.

Edit.
The turn didn't load. Went through the motions again, with the same result.

Further thoughts on making MP great again, by going one better than OoB (sorry) with their "X marks the spot" - draw on the strategic map at the end of the turn, a picture and a thousand words etc.

If the hour glass is going round and round I think that is a prompt to say hey you have moved all of your units hit the end turn button already !

Which just so happens to be that very same hour glass.. If you hosted the game waited for the other player/players then launched provided you didnt take 3 hours to have your turn the other player maybe still there waiting for his turn. It doesnt have to be pbem ... It can be real time and you can chat to the other player using the chat icon top left of the screen.

If the other player does leave you can revert back to play by e mail or wait to the other player is online to continue in real time.

If you end your turn and the other players have disconnected already ... it will say uploading and then kick you out.

If you end turn and the other player is still connected then he can start his turn ... finnish his turn ... and its your turn again...

Again using chat function to communcate is key.
