game crashes before starting

I installed game from Steam. I press play and I get message "DX11 feature level 10.0 is required to run the engine". What to do? Graphics driver is up to date.

I have the same issue.

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

once the report has been made, just zip the file then attach it to your post as it's a Txt file which is then not permitted to attach to the forum, where as a zip file is.

full report please, and not copy pasted, attach is always the best, so we can download and read the full report, not just a line or which shows next to nothing thanks

Avira needs to add the game exe to be able to run, install the game as admin and run the game as admin and tbh get a game friendly AV not a rubbish one imo

A note for the 9500 GT

You would think the developers would test the game a little better.

plenty of real people and different pc's on the alpha and beta tbh, but not 1k of them, which is a drop in the ocean of real life pc types, so it's always hard to make sure it works on any given % of them, let alone drivers types most run then add in the 100's if not 1000 of different software and programs running in the background

I can start the game but a minute into the tutorial the picture disappears while the sound continues. I am running windows 10 on an HPdesktop.

There are many things to try if you are getting "DX11 feature level 10.0 is required to run the engine" error, for example:

But ultimately, the problem might be that the video card is not be able to run Unreal Engine 4, which Panzer Corps 2 is based on.

Lastly, I tried a driver from the Realtek website. Still has the same problem, unfortunately.

In the end, I had to update to an Nvidia GT 1030 which does work with the game.
