Military Tradition

Post by Ludendorf »

By which I mean the national trait that determines how good your nation is at war. How do you increase it? I get games where I'm rocking an admiralty's worth of 4 star generals, and others where my general's staff consists of two elderly incompetents each competing for who can win the biggest fiasco award.

Military Expertise has a text explaining it. Warrior Caste is provided by an event choice. You can choose one of four choices. I've had the event a few times. Unless you mean something else?

Ah, that would explain it. I have a bad habit of neglecting my military infrastructure. Time to build some stables!

Don't bother, Military Experience is an extremely inefficient thing to invest in. Aim for military academies as they have comparatively a massive impact on leader quality, *and* they have a stacking effect (which makes them super-efficient for large empires).
There are three kinds of people, those who can count and those who can't.
