Possible to mod quality of national leaders?

Hi folks,

I'm wondering if it's possible to tweak the quality of the national leaders that get assigned during the game (presumably randomly)? Either for a single faction or for all factions?

You mean rulers, not generals?

I think following file sets out their generating process.
\Field of Glory Empires\Data\scripts\Ruler.bsf

As far as I can see, their process is randomized and no faction-wise tweak (like making Romans more likely to have competent ruler) is possible.

Yes, rulers rather than generals. Thanks for flagging up the file that probably contains the relevant process, I'll take a look at it.

if you go to 'groups' in the set up files you can amend leader bias - raise or lower this and you change the likelihood of getting decent rulers & generals
