Future Red vs Blue Campaign announcement.

Post by vexiliant »

As of right now, I am thinking of whether to add on to this campaign I've been working on for atleast more than 20 days (at times I don't do anything about it since I have no ideas)

And that's on you people to try and give me suggestions to this campaign.

The proposed scenarios: (In order) (???: Is not yet revealed)

Red vs Blue (Still don't know what to name it, you can find some pictures of the scenario in: Red vs Blue)
The Battle of Kirkwell
??? [Big-scaled scenario]
[Possibly a Desert themed scenario]
Announced Jungle scenario
??? [Coastal based scenario]

Let me know what kind of things you want to be included in this campaign! :D

Recommendations
1) Jungle scenario
Make sure to include rivers and mountains in any jungle scenario. They work well to separate avenues of approach.
2) Amphibious/Coastal Scenario
I would strongly recommend an amphibious invasion. I myself have made several private scenarios like this. They, to me, are just so satisfying to do. A large amphibious invasion could very well end up being a large scenario, so it could fulfill that requirement.
Any amphibious/coastal scenario requires naval fire support. When you do these scenarios, I strongly recommend that you provide some fire support. A couple of gunboats and a destroyer or two should work for smaller cases. This could even result in a small naval engagement, with aircraft support! For larger landings or scenarios, battleships, cruiser, and aircraft carriers are much more common.

Ah, no, I know its based off of american units, but its like, an alternative "war" where 2 "colours" (Teams) go against each other. I'm just using US units since they're included in this faction (I'm pretty sure they were made for the USA faction, not quite sure).

It is only 2 factions.

And yes I'm just going to say this now to just answer the statement (Jungle Scenario): I've already made the scenario [20 x 20] and it has all those requirements.
It is mainly based on naval attacks.
If 20 x 20 is too small for you, I can add a pt.2 to the Jungle theater.
I intended that i'd be 20 x 20 because it was not going to be very huge in the campaign, but from your recommendations, I might expand on the Jungle scenario idea.

Thanks.

It's ok, your suggestions are actually nice. You also reminded me to fix the URL for the link since you were talking about it. Thanks! (I completely forgot to continue to finish the link's URL)

✔️
Zekedia222 wrote: Sun Dec 29, 2019 11:55 pm Aircraft support!
That would be good, but I have no experience in using aircraft, if I do know how aircraft work in this game after when I post this, i'll definitely add it to that and future scenarios.

Roughly the timeline of the campaign.

Post by vexiliant »

-Top to bottom = Start to finish (In bold is the scenario name)

[Note: I just have to finish all of them, except Up to Greensdale and The Battle of Kirkwell, so there is a lot to go through...]

Main Campaign:

Up to Greensdale
The Battle of Kirkwell
Undiscovered Forests
Cancelled Desert themed scenario (Might do one in the future)
Rivalry Down South
> NEW Silent Bay
Coastal Campers
WILL BE REVEALED WHEN RELEASED

Back in Time:

1780s > Still in development, actually, most of these are in development! :(
The Battle of Bowen's Bridge > This is a mini scenario
> NEW The Battle of Stanton
> NEW The Battle of Fort Northton

There is going to be more, but not planned yet. These scenarios is what I have now.
