Merovingian Franks - anyone got any pictures/info ?

I watch something from the history channel and want to learn more and maybe do an army.
What figures for Merovingian Franks in 15mm would you use , what do they look like besides barbarians , anything to set them apart ?

If anyone has an army done , do you have some pictures ?
