I'll try to add a FAQ here for the most common questions.
1. Can I continue playing MP games with the beta running?
A: The beta is a separate version and game (1.06.5) and reach a separate beta server, if you want to play a multiplayer game with the new diplomacy system.
It also means that to reach your ongoing MP game, you need to launch the regular 1.06 version. Both are separated/insulated from each other.
