What game is most similar to Fantasy General II but...without the fantasy theme? Preferably with a WWII, future, or SF theme.

How about Aggressors: Ancient Rome. If you are interested in the Ancient setting. It has amazing Depth, and more Replayability than a lot of other TBS games due to its Random map Generator (Order of Battle does not have one) & editor. I just bought it and reading through the manual (247 pages!). It has an excellent tutorial, and it's 40% off right now!
