Mission to Asbytia

Post by gandalf0550 »

I have missions to both Asbytia and Scaga and I have no idea where they are. How do you find these isolated areas?

There is a Find button above the minimap (hotkey Ctrl-F) that allows you to search for regions, provinces, cities, and nations by name.

What's the point of these missions anyway?
99% of the time they are on the other side of the map, if you send out an army after them, you'll end up with a string of useless regions (because you can't just "pass through"), and if you are lucky enough to be able to send a ship there, it dies from starvation on the way (unless its a pirate...).

That's a way to rake up Legacy points. Sometime they are not too far, sometime they are ... better forget about them in this case.

If you take a region by conquest, then you can evacuate it though, there is an order for that since a few patches.

Yes I know, but first conquering e.g. 20 provinces in a row to ge to the objective, then evacuate those provinces behind my army, then do the same again to get the army back ... won't be worth it I think :?

Did I complain they are always too far away?
Now, I got on 3 steps from my starting point, in a province that I conquered 20 turns ago!
Pretty sure that is not how it's supposed to work, right?
