Unity of Command?

Panzer Corps II and Unity of Command look very similar. I wonder whether the developers considered collaborating with Croteam and producing a single game instead of two similar ones.

It looks like a lot of the technology used is similar in both games.

both games and developers used to be based here, and while one stayed, the other left and now both sets of developers are doing a 2nd version

Thanks, zakblood. What is the difference between Slitherine and Matrix? Is Slitherine more of a publisher, and Matrix a developer? Is Slitherine the umbrella company for Matrix and some others?

both are the same, add in Ageod and there all under the same command as one group of publishers and developers combined into one group
