Rewatch enemy turn in hotseat mode?

After watching the enemy turn in hotseat mode, the "media control" toolbar disappears. How can I get the media toolbar back so I cant re-watch the enemy turn?

Gee I was hoping I had asked a stupid question and someone would provide a simple answer! :D I guess it's not possible. Strange design decision by the devs to have it disappear with no way to get it back after it goes away.
