Tale of Falir prequel campaign
Can we buy this seperately, without all the other rubbish? Otherwise it's an extra $28AU for "Tale of Falir prequel campaign" which is not good value for money! I don't want the Digital soundtrack ,Artbook (in English) or Printable world map. They're a waste of my money and HDD space!

That makes our beautiful artbook with all the world lore and extra background on units very sad. Currently there is not way to buy the prequel campaign seperately I am afraid.
But it should go on a sale at a later date.

Is the prequel campaign very long? Not that it matters at this point, there is no way to upgrade my (steam) regular edition.
Speaking of which, why was the price only available the day of release? I'll usually set aside some money for a premium edition but not knowing the price was slightly concerning.

There will be a chance to upgrade your edition at a later date.
The mini campaign is 3 extra maps of large size and takes 5+ hours to get through

Ah, good to know. Thanks for the quick reply.

Thanks for that, but could you be a bit more specific about the estimate time of availability?OBG_primetide wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2019 7:34 am There will be a chance to upgrade your edition at a later date.

I purchased the basic edition on Steam and care only for the campaigns (and won't pay the full price of Hero Edition to get the prequel). Giving us the ability to purchase the Prequel campaign as a DLC, maybe?

The decision is with the Publisher, so I am afraid I can't tell you as I don't know.

So Slitherine, what's the word on this? It would be cool to be able to get the art book and the prequel campaign if you own the base game without having to buy the base game again or even to upgrade all the way to the General Edition (even if the overall cost is the same). AKA basically pre-ordering the next expansion Empire Aflame with the extra goodies (for example $79.99 General - $39.99 Base = $40.00 Upgrade to General Edition).
Field of Glory II: Complete and the Masters Collection show that doing steam bundles with content like this is very much technically possible and the Slitherine site even also has some form of bundle capability (See: https://www.slitherine.com/bundle/field ... rs-edition).
Value wise if one actually got a separate gift-able copy of the base game for a friend then buying the Hero or General Edition after already owning the base game would make more sense but, of course steam keys don't work like that.
Can someone clarify if there will be upgrade options with or without the art book? Will that be after Empire Aflame comes out?
Also a way to send a message to your opponent in Multiplayer would be great (I know others have mentioned this).
On a slightly different note: E-Gift Certificates would be a nice to have for the Slitherine Webstore (although perhaps the demand for them may not be enough to warrant implementing such functionality). But, I'd love to have another way to introduce others I know to some great strategy and war games.
I see the artbook (hard copy?) actually is available for $14.99 as a separate purchase.

Re: Tale of Falir prequel campaign
If you guys are concerned over giving the upgrade path a $9.98 discount on the 2 DLCs and cutting into revenue you could just do a Hero Edition Upgrade priced at $20 and leave the expansions as a la carte content ($14.99 each).
$39.99 Base + $20 Upgrade to Hero Edition + $14.99 *2 for the a la carte expansions = $89.97
$89.97 - $79.99 General = $9.98 Difference
$39.99 Base + $20 Upgrade to Hero Edition + $14.99 *2 for the a la carte expansions = $89.97
$89.97 - $79.99 General = $9.98 Difference

Re: Tale of Falir prequel campaign
We keep asking Slitherine for this and I hear there are plans in development on how to deal with that.
