After failing miserably with my Celticii vs Rome games (twice) I thought I'd try a different challenge. Always wanting to challenge myself I chose the Dardani on balanced setting. The game went like this...
Turn 1: Normal initial activities for the 4 regions, start creating infrastructure, building my army...
Turn 2: Epirus attacks, defeats my army destroying my better units and conquers my capital
Turn 3: Epirus attacks my battered army and conquers my next region
Turn 4: Epirus attacks the remaining remnants of my army and conquers the third of my regions
Turn 5: I have no army, so Epirus liberates my remaining region... game over!

Reminds me of your Epirus game!
Re: Shortest / Unuckiest Game Ever?
that is impressive
'best' I managed was a 17 turn descent to complete disaster with the Armenians. It seemed the only thing that the Seleucids and Antiochids agreed on was to eradicate me from the map (and they were AI controlled too)

A Judea game where I was besieging Jerusalem. On the turn before I was going to assault, a slave revolt destroyed my entire army. Two turns later, I was dead. Whole thing took about 8 turns.

a few turns later they declared war

The Antiochid. First nation I picked said had the most powerful army in description. I thought it would be an easy way to learn the game . Boy was I wrong . Everybody wanted a piece of me.
