Two easy-to-fix "bugs" with huge impacts on gameplay

Post by Weids »

CLEAR terrain provides +10% hit chance. OPEN terrain provides no bonus.

Shenandoah Studio had it right, but Slitherine mistakingly treats OPEN terrain as CLEAR terrain.

The only bonus-providing CLEAR terrains are Namur, Hingeon, Verviers and Huy.

The bridge strategically placed on Namur is broken. It mysterious functions only as a one-way bridge. Sloppy SLOPPY mistake.

Slitherine is known to produce low quality products, sloppily made, bug-ridden and poorly maintained.

In Battle of the Bulge:

CLEAR terrain (with no vegetation at all) provides +10% hit chance. OPEN terrain (dotted with a couple of trees) provides no bonus.

Shenandoah Studio had it right, but Slitherine mistakingly treats OPEN terrain as CLEAR terrain.

The only bonus-providing CLEAR terrains are Namur, Hingeon, Verviers and Huy.

The alleged "defending Elite armour extra hit change bug" does not really exist.

As I was a beta tester for "Battle of the Bulge", it had it's problems at first but you have to remember that like the other Shenandoah games, they are "basic" games without a bunch of fancy terrains and such. Just a basic battle game.
I have a pile of Slitherine games going back to "Uncommon Valor". They are good games and when you have a problem? They generally acknowledge it and do their best to help you out.

"Slitherine is known to produce low quality products, sloppily made, bug-ridden and poorly maintained". I couldn't disagree more. Even with my temper, they've always been there to try and help.

Battle of the Bulge is just a quick shoot em up game at best.
Other than Matrix, I don't know any other companies that will do their best to help you and most don't have any Forum at all.
It is a "game", meant to be played and enjoyed.
