[BUG] Multi-Player Crashes Operating System (East West North South)

Three times in a row the game crashes the OS whilst resolving the outcome of my battle against the AI.

This makes me wish the game were available on GNU+Linux.

What should we do? The MP game will not be able to proceed...

are you sure? Not seeing this report from anyone else running MP games.

You were using an odd set up earlier, so wonder if that is affecting this game?

After rebooting and relaunching the game, it makes a bug report request, so some of those should have arrived by now.

I will try again. I have also noticed that, for no apparent reason, the game was switching between the desktop view and back again. I am closing all other applications and seeing if that makes a difference.

I rebooted, reinstalled the game and added the patch. It started "switching" between the desktop and full screen game again, so I saved and quit before it crashed.

One of the other things I have noticed is that after I start the launcher, I click play game, and a somewhat smaller version of the launcher appears. Sometimes clicking the play game on that results in the game itself launching.

I am losing confidence in reporting bugs at the moment as I think it might be issues at my end rather than the game.

The message is something like, "We noticed the game crashed and request your permission to send a bug report".

The other issues you are having before the crash suggest a more general problem with your installation or a conflict with your configuration. Are you having issues in the single player game?
Can you provide the system info requested in the sticky on this forum?

There should not be two levels of game launcher before you get to the main menu.
