Skip Watching Opponent's Turn

Post by MikeMarchant »

Is there a way to skip watching my opponenet's turn? This option was always available in FoG 1.

In a serious agme I want to watch my opponent's turn, but in a casual friendly, especially at the beginning of large battles, I don't want to waste the time watching every unit in his army advance slowly up the field.

No there isn't.

This is because of the way the system works. What is actually saved is the position at the start of the enemy turn, and a list of the events that occurred during the turn. The replay actually runs through those events and reconstructs the final position. So without a replay, the game would be in the state it was at the start of the enemy turn.

I see. Thanks for the info, Richard.
