Challenge #3?

Field of Glory: Empires is a grand strategy game in which you will have to move in an intricate and living tapestry of nations and tribes, each one with their distinctive culture.
Set in Europe and in the Mediterranean Area during the Classical Age, experience what truly means to manage an Empire.

Any word on the next challenge?
What nation would you like to see next?
I would like to see something from the British Isles.

I would love to see a Seleucid playthrough where the player is forced to handle aggressive neighbours. The first two challenges have not shown any aggressive play from rival empires which is a bit concerning...

believe me, there are some starts that come close to triggering a heart attack 8) - I still shudder at a test with Antiochus when I was 1 negative token off becoming decadent or an Armenian game where survival was a wee bit in doubt for some time.

in general with Carthage you can avoid major conflict at the start - in fact this is a good idea, the goal in the challenge reflects sensible game play with that faction. The problem is staying out of trouble, but that kicks in after T50.

Many thanks Loki.

I keep forgetting the challenges have only been 25-50 turns and this is a 500 turn game so we have really only seen the "opening stages" of the game when by definition there will be easier Independents and smaller factions to face on your borders whereas later other Empires and powerful Kingdoms are likely to have started to clash...

The third challenge will put the player in the middle of several wars right from the start!
