PHILISTINE army

Post by Martin0112 »

Hi!

Does anybody has an idea on how the PHILISTINE-armylist will look like?
I'd like to start painting my unpainted figures, but need to understand for sure what I really have to paint.

Maybe I can get some hints?

The infantry are mostly MF Protected Offensive Spearmen (apart from 1 BG of up to 8 HF guard spearmen Armoured or Protected)

Chariots are LCH Bow before 800 BC and HCh Bow thereafter.

In addition there are lots of LF - mostly with Javelins, but some with bow or sling.

Also 4 cavalry after 800 BC

So a mixture between LCh and HCh is not possible, correct?

How many Chariots are possible in BG's of 4?

Correct. Though you could get some LCh after 800 by taking an Egyptian ally.
