CoM Download.

Dear Iain,

If I purchase CoM by download and install it on one of our machines what happens if say I want to F-Disc my computer? I have Arena on Disc and the patch can be had from your site but what happens to CoM that I would have paid for but have no Disc for? I would have lost it I presume? This is something that puts me off downloading games rather than buying the Disc because I do F-Discs at least once per year to freshen everything up.

Did the patch and am stumbling my way through another campaign and managed to give Arena a plug on Europa Barbarorum and Rome Total Realism forums.

Iain is the expert on the DD, but as far as I know you can simply burn or backup the CoM installer, and then you are able to reactivate it an unlimited number of times on the same machine. So you should have no problems in the scenario you are talking about.

Yes, the digital download can be burned to CD and saved. It's not like steam where it requires constant authentification every time you run. As long as you store your activation code & and the installer you'll be able to reinstall. Obviously if the system detects you installing it on different PC's it's likely the activation will fail, but installing to teh same PC should not be a problem and if it is, let us know and we'll sort it out. Even if you lose your activation code, we can probably trace your order, but it's best to keep the confirmation e-mail!
