Principate Romans

Post by Gallienus »

Guys,

An often overlooked manufacturer for Romans is A and A. They do a huge range covering the ra c200-320 AD. Masses of command figures, dozens of legionaries and auxiliary types, praetorians, super heavy cavalry (IMHO) and good sets of senior commanders.

They also make a (smaller) Palmyran range.

A&A's C3rd boys are what I've used for my Principate army - using Little Big Men transfers for the shields.

I'm not so keen on the late C3rd/early C4th range though.
