UPDATES TO RANKINGS

Can anyone fill me in on when and how the World and various other rankings are updated?

The world ranking has not been updated since July.

I'm sure Hammy will be able to give you an answer when he is back from Warfare. However, I have a feeling he posted something last week saying, essentially, that he was working on a new set.

The various national rankings are run by different individuals. The World rankings are done when I manange to get the various national rankings in my possession (and I need the raw data, not just the values), then I have to amamlgamate the whole lot into one huge dataset. I thought it would be easier than it is and infact I spent about 3 days last week producing a set of World rankings including comps to the end of October. They should be on the site very shortly.

The rankings currently there are actually up to the end of August, not July, for some reason I failed to change the date field at the top of the sheet when I sent it for posting

I have now got a regular data feed from the USA, France, Spain and Italy but am still waiting on getting anything much from other countries. I will trawl through posts to see if I can find more tournaments to include. The next set of rankings includes 62 tournaments from 8 countries.
