Scenario Editor 7.1.4

Post by Erik2 »

How is the 'Allow Custom Starting Force' supposed to work?

I have it checked on the first scenario (contains a number of ready-made core units) in a campaign.
Nothing happens when I run the campaign or the scenario as stand-alone.
I can't find any triggers related to this either.

Please enlighten me :D

Let me guess: it replaces a preplaced core-force with its worth in RP?

Do you mean you have tested it and it does not work?

I have tested it and it does not work, no effect. It is not used in the first scenario of the Campaign Endsieg.

This kind of trigger is used on the place (01_Rzhev) :

Thanks. I hesitate to report it as a bug if the developer has no intention of using it. Best to keep limited attention focused on the stuff that actually affects gameplay.

Guys, guys, guys, time for some proper testing by Master Gabe...

It works just fine as designed. It's not for use in campaigns but for single scenario missions:
(Granted, I did not count the refunded RPs for validity)

Hmmm. To which master should I listen? Perhaps the one to whom the other one is now bowing down.

Aha, I just tested the scenario in editor mode...
Too bad it doesn't work during a campaign. Would be a nice option for those players that prefer roll-you-own units.

Agree.

And such option would've come in quite handy during (mostly) your campaigns, Erik. :D
