Hi, any plans for a book to support the game?

I'm surprised a fan hasn't had a go at it. Maybe something like a walthrough for each battle. However, that might make the game too easy, part of the interest for me is trying my hand as a "field general." But, a general tactics/strategy guide would be cool.iainmcneil wrote:Not so far. The problem with this idea is that your tactics will vary wildly depending on the army you have built yourself.triari wrote:I'm surprised a fan hasn't had a go at it. I think it would be nice to have a list of upgrades, their descriptions, and their values. I've been planning on writing these down myself, but if anyone else happens to have already done this, please post! Once I get through a lot of them on my own, I'll post them here (either as text or as a link to a page on my site).

That's what I'm talking about, ste. All that crap that's default, so most users wind up with it.ste wrote:i can't see how that'd be bad unless you were running office applications at the same time as attempting to play the game, in which case you deserve to have your game run slow. Just steer clear of those horrible start up options they give you and it'll be fine.
Nothing like having that paperclip pop up and ask "Would you like to learn how to schedule a task?" right in the middle of one of the Servile War scenarios

Not that MS office is at all bad on a work machine, just a gaming rig
