very pretty indeed, mind you they still cant fight for tuppence...... great job on the art though.

The massed peltasts are only slightly better than Irregular Foot, but they are great for standing on top of a steep (difficult sloped) hill repelling attacks. ;)

Their main advantage over the Thracian Spearman for this purpose being that they can charge enemy units that are on the difficult slopes without the risk of following up off the hill.

Warbands are still the coolest looking bad as.es out there. Of course, they tend to not fight as well as they look either.

I found the Thrachian 350-251 BC list very tricky opponent on hilly map when playing late Spartan list. With a deep stream running through the battlefield it was hard to get an advantage over the endless Thracian mediums and even in the open the Thracian spearmen and rhomphaia units did surprisingly well against the hoplites.

Really happy that the Thracians received some much needed attention in the patch. These additions really added some flavor and variety into a lot of army lists that were some of the dullest in the game until now.
