Great first impression but one concern

Having a great time on a random map, and the AI is performing very well, providing real opposition.

However, I am concerned that, as far as I can see, your enemy can offer you peace during its turn, and although the action of that turn has flashed in front of you quickly, you cannot assess the situation on the map before responding to the AI's offer. Maybe I am missing something, but when I tried to click out of the peace offer screen, the game recorded that as rejecting the peace offer.

One other minor point. On the Battle Report screen, it would be very helpful if, in addition to identifying the unit as Titianus's Legion or Leudagar's Group, it also identified the unit type such as Milites or Axeman Cavalry. After you have more than a handful of units, it is easy to lose track of names.

Apart from that, for all the diplomacy offers/requrests you can click the button on the bottom of the offer window which brings you to the political map to check things out.

Apart from that, the next patch version will improves this in two ways:

1. When you hover over particular banner in the political map, you also get in tooltip all the comparison statistics.
2. Once there is a diplomacy offer/request, clicking on the grayed out area will not mark this offer as rejected..

Wow, that was an impressively quick response! (Even before I finished editing it.)

Very helpful, I had not seen that button -- but I think I am a bit dyslexic about picking up subtleties in any UI.

I cannot find any screenshots where you can see the diplomatic offer but I found one where you can see the button.



At the bottom of the window (in the middle) there is this button with shaking hands. That's the one:)
