Field Fortification

Post by Scrumpy »

Is is allowed to place a field fortification on the table, with no intent of defending it, but merely as a way of getting non-skirmishing troops 15" in instead of 10" ?

Cheers

Yes.

No rules to prevent this and IMO there shouldn't be.

FF are damn near worthless as it is. One of the remaining benefits is the +5 MU distance they can give to non skirmishers.

Ive put my arm bow/swd cav behind them just in order for them to get a little distance from the table edge when facing HVY Arm foot.
