black screen

So tired of trying to figure out all these new updates and how they fit together. Bad for business. Not a computer science major so please keep any remedies english for dummies only.

I have WWII 6.1.9. downloaded along with Rising sun, Morning sun, Winter war, Blitzkrieg, Burma road and Panzerkrieg. I was playing Sandstorm when my computer froze and needed to be reset. Nothing but trouble since. Everything needed to be downloaded again out of frustration. I now get to the "MOD LAUNCHER" screen where I have a choice of WWII or Battle of Britain. When I click either I get nothing but a black screen. What am I missing?

Do the following:
Delete the Settings folder that can be found in the Windows documents folder at:

...\Documents\My Games\Order of Battle - WW2

Run the game and check if the issue persists.
