Wiki updated with Modding guide

Post by Aekar »

Hello guys,

I just put a new page on Gladius Wiki with first modding guidance.
It's here:

https://gladiusrelicsofwar.gamepedia.com/Modding

You may add your new pages there with your guides too.

I must admit I suffered a lot of crashes and sleepless nights while implementing new factions, units and upgrades; that would avoid you some of these pains.
Also I encourage the devs to help us reduce the number of crashes when modding and increase the information we receive.

(EDIT: devs were really were quick to react, thas's awesome! many updates have been rolled in already and modding is now so very convenient!)
(EDIT #2: the modding section now has most articles written by Qai, Potato McWhiskey, Kravix and more)

I think we can bring Gladius to the top for the three years to come. So I invite others to contribute.

Oh, and again, if you are a 3D artist... ;)

Hay I'm someone with some knowledge in 3D animation (Only Maya) but lack understanding of how to actually add models to a games and what would be the requirements of said models. (Usually the requirements of the models can be found by just exporting one and looking at it).
But I can make some stuff if you help me figure out how to add the models and also how to extract the onces from the game.
First ofc I need to get the game working but the ticket has been filed.
