World Wildlife

Anyone else feel like they are spending more time fighting off local wildlife than they are the actual opponents? I've even tried the lowest density setting a few times and while its a marked improvement its still a hell of an annoyance with the magnitude of the encounters.

At the beginng of the battle, sure. But in the end they are no more, or almost.
I think the wildlife is very good as is, even I hate those esclavagist stealing my marines, or the scorpions killing them.
I feel the wild, and the violence of the world of Wh40k.

Eh, we will have to agree to disagree my friend. Additionally the lore is kind of wonky. Enslavers don't really exist in the real world currently and if they did they really are only attracted to Psykers. Catachan Devils as the name indicates exist on Catachan and as far as I know no where else. Regardless Im not poo pooing the lore issues so much as the prevalence of the Fauna and perhaps the degree to which they are an issue especially at normal settings.

The planet is very dangerous. The wildlife are as string as your main opponents early game or stronger. They're intended to be a challenge. It is not like Civ. You will often need multiple units to take one wildlife unit out.
