The new look of the forum is awful. Nothing can be found, it's not very user-friendly.
It drives me crazy that you have changed something that was good.
You must restore the possibility of using the old version!

Recently, my former bank did something similar with the appearance of an online accounts, so I changed the bank

It wasn't good. In fact, it was terrible. You couldn't really use it on phones or tablets at all. It wasn't also conforming to accessibility guidelines. Font size was often too small and color combinations were poor.

TLDR: more people can use this forum now so now it's better. Yes, it takes some time to get used to it as some functionality is located in different places but that's something that is easily overcome.

I'm with Kondi. Definitely preferred the old version which btw. worked perfectly well with my tablet. But this it will be, so I guess have to learn the differences.

I always preferred the Matrix Forum to the Slitherene format. Now even more so.

Will probably adjust but just find it confusing so far. Also with new posts not going to the top of threads or for that matter to the top in a thread it takes a lot of scrolling down to see if there are any new posts. The one thing that is somewhat helpful is for threads with a new post to be colored Red.

You can change the display order by going to USER CONTROL PANEL> BOARD PREFERENCES > EDIT DISPLAY OPTIONS

If a new posting does not go to the top, but keeps it place in the thread. What if you reply to a post on page 2 etc?
WIll the reply stay buried somewhere down under?
It sounds like this will be denpendent on the individual user settings...

You can order the posts in ascending or descending order on your configuration, or in each thread if you want.
Check those options... you have many available to set them to your liking.

I see some changes when I log in again.
Now the forum is starting to look much better.
It's perfect that you changed the colors and modified the layout of the threads, it resemble the earlier version now, thank you ...

Not sure how age factors into this, but I'm well above 30. My point is that the forum software can be tweaked further but the main thing is that it's now accessible to much larger audience as more than 50% of internet users are now using mobile devices. Your point of view is a very narrow one. Try to look at it from broader perspective.

Also, the old version was falling apart at the seams (you'll have seen the regular errors it was throwing). Upgrading was necessary.

like anything new, it will take time to get used to, and tbh as soon as some other skins and looks come out, most imo won't know the difference, for me, it's good, it works and is easy to alter, so once i get used it, like everything now days in life, in time i won't even notice, so thanks admin

The earlier version with avatars on the other side and no divisions between sticky and normal threads was a bit confusing indeed...but with the recent changes it's fine to me overall.

The board is looking better now.
But I tried to turn off Notifications since I usually visit this forum daily anyway.
You can select all notifications and set them to 'read', but you can't delete them or turn the function off.
At least I could not find a way to do this.

Are you looking only here? Because yes, apparently you cannot do anything but mark things as "Read," not even delete:

Instead, you can control and shut off Notifications here, I believe:
