Persian armies

Post by vj531 »

Have there been any changes made to the damage caused by Persian archers?

Just played Marathon and I surprised at, one the lack of damage from the Persian arrows and then the lack of defence for the Persians in melee.

I have won this playing either sides, but this time the Persians felt much weaker.

The Persian Sparabara and Immortals were not affected by the negative shooting POA modifier introduced in the last patch (1.3.9).

It might be worth checking what difficulty level you are playing on. Deity level decreases the quality of your units, and increases the quality of the AI units. So that might explain the effect that you noticed.
