Hello, guys,
In order to achieve better historical accuracy, I´d like to discuss here some editing to present units, like proper armament in some infantry, artillery range in others and operational functions in some others as well.
For instance, the british Blenheim airplane is specified as a tactical bomber only - somethiong like, say a Do 17 or Ju 88 but, in fact, it was often employed as a multirole fighter bomber, much like the Me 110 [see e.g. http://www.warintheskies.com/aircraft/blenheim.html]. I wonder if it is possible to change this kind of unit specifications in the game.

Re: Unit Specs and Historical Accuracy
You may always make suggestions, of course, and there could be participation and debate on the part of other members which is nice to see. We have seen similar threads before along these lines.
In my opinion you have chosen the proper forum, this general one, in that this is not a Tech Support or a Scenario Design topic. Moreover, more people will see it here.
However, there are two things to keep in mind:
- People make suggestions all the time, all over the place, so don't necessarily expect them to repeat those suggestions here. Feel free to repeat them here yourself, however!
- We may talk all we want about what we would like the game to change and what we would like it to encompass but only some of this will get noticed by the developers and only some of that will get implemented. There are often overriding reasons for not making certain proposed changes.
I say this so that you are not disappointed and frustrated down the road.

Small changes to units stats can be made rather easily by yourself in the units.csv file.Mascarenhas wrote: I wonder if it is possible to change this kind of unit specifications in the game.
For starters, try these threads:

Thx for your clarifications and tips. Those were only suggestions, I just wanted to contribute for game enhancement. I understand that not many suggestions may be accepted for different reasons, no bad feelings from my part.
