impassable river

Post by ggarynorman »

It seems routers can escape across impassable rivers. Can they get back gain if rallying or are they marooned for the duration of the battle?

They should not be able to. Are you sure there wasn't a ford?

Where on the map was it - in the middle, near the edge?

Or did they go off the map on one side of the river and then come back on the other side? (This could certainly happen with the current code base, but can be justified on the basis of an off-map ford)

If anything like this happens gain, please take a screen shot.

The river took about a quarter of the map away on the right hand side. At least 2 units routed across but did not rally. No fords etc in sight

Where the tracks goes across the river are fords.

If you mouse over the river squares with the tracks you will see that they are not impassable.
