Patch question.

If I buy the base game without any of the DLCs to see if I like it, will the latest patch include all of the gameplay improvements? I know that I won't get any of the new units etc.

I think it would have to, otherwise you wouldn't be able to have all the fun of MP!

The manual is unchanged - we will update it at some point, but meantime all the patch notes since day 1 are in one file. This can be viewed from the launcher or as a file in the main build.

Also note that while you can't create MP challenges or play single player with the expansion armies unless you get the expansions you can still accept MP challenges and play MP against people who have the expansions. If if you only have the base game this is a great way to try out the expansion armies to see if they interest you too.
