Lynda and I are the wrong way round in Legions ,I'm using the Parthians ,she's using the Palmyrans,
Surprisingly varied armies and only 2 Sassanids ,looks fun

I've borrowed some from Bob Medcraft,he's definately got more than you ,although I could probably do 8 BG's some are very old and broken

I don't think 8 BG with Palmyran is legal. 7 BG gives 30 bases with the Armenian Ally, but 30 bases is silly at 800pts. And you can't get any more at 1000pts. Parthians can have 18 + 6+6+6 with three allies IIRC, but thats still only 7 BG. Not that I've thought about this.

My fault,nothing would prevent Lynda using the Palmyrans,Zenobia and all that,mind you I should be I feel they will do better than the Parthians,on the other point how often have I got a list right 1st time

I think Parthians are a particularly tasty army. The Light Horse are rubbish enough so that you never consider fighting with them and you have quite a hammer with the Cataphracts to clobber heavy foot. You can always skirmish knights and such like with your abundant LH.

I had to obtain 18 elements of Cataphracts. I am now awaiting to unleash them on unsuspecting victims
