15mm figures for Dominate Roman Catafractarii / Clibanarii

Post by KiwiWarlord »

Having to expand my Late Roman Heavy Brigade & would appreciate some suggestions re figures. Don't like the look of the Essex chaps. Would like a mixture of poses & Command / Standard Bearer.
Thanks.

Pass'o the North have some good catafracts, though I don't recall seeing any cataphract command type figures unless you want to convert your own.

They look terrific, similar to my 25mm lads. Those lances are too much, are they supplied with the figures or are they custom made?
Thanks again

Afraid not, figures supplied open handed without lance.

I started early replacing all my bendy lead spears and such with wire. Can cause the odd battlefield injury, but better than re-painting.

Outpost also do a line of Late Romans and Khurusan Miniatures have started doing one, sculpted by someone who did a very nice range of 10mm LIR's. Worth keeping an eye on.
