Burma Road - Unit Without a Name or Picture

Post by MarechalJoffre »

As it can be seen in the attachment, it's only shown as unit_2181 without any pictures or name to it.

PoorOldSpike mentioned one of these in the 5.2.9 Unit Bugs thread. I think they are probably going through, or have already gone through, that kind of thing for the next patch. If they missed this particular one, your posting it here will help, so thanks.

I did search if a similar bug report existed before posting, as to avoid unnecessary crowding here. But couldn't find any. Thanks.

No problem. Keep helping them improve the game! It's appreciated by all of us.

Isn't that one of those inflatable tank units used to confuse the enemy spies. 4 points is a bit steep for an air filled unit.

Yes, that's it! Comes with a crew of 4 I see. Maybe that is why there is a higher point value.

Here's our boy 2181 in the editor, he's one of these 6x Brit paras who are just a number (2180 to 2185), they play fine in the game even though they haven't got a mugshot. I assume their number corresponds to the 6x years 1940 to 45, so that'd make our boy a "British para 1941"

Units have no good picture.
Soviet Conscripts are four on the terrain and only 3 on the picture. One of the soldier on the picture holds a sabre :

Not sure, but the Japanese 3d-models and 2d info-pictures that are used for Soviet inf units are possibly (and hopefully) still placeholders until a Soviet DLC is released.

In theory, it should have been made for a long time with the extension blitzkrieg...

Hungarian Infantry :

On the battlefield the infantry wears brown uniforms.
In the small picture, the Hungarian Infantry wears grey-black uniforms.
