Pydna bug?
I recently accepted a MP Pydna challenge as the Macedonians. For the first 2 rounds my Macedonian cavalry had the movement capability of infantry and the reverted to normal cavalry movement. Anyone else experienced the same?

Re: Pydna bug?
It is due to side1 using AI code that regulates the cavalry to the speed of the infantry for the first few turns. The fix is currently in beta and will be released in the major patch that accompanies the release of the next DLC.Cunningcairn wrote:I recently accepted a MP Pydna challenge as the Macedonians. Is this in Pydna only and are there any other such "controls" for example with affect combat capabilities? I have experienced a few other anomalies playing epic battles but they were fleeting and difficult to check or replicate without hours of testing.rbodleyscott wrote:It is due to side1 using AI code that regulates the cavalry to the speed of the infantry for the first few turns. It affects several of the MP epic battles. No, there are no "controls" affecting combat capabilities or anything else. The move distances are kept to the slowest troop in the commands for the first couple of turns to help the AI keep the troops together. This code was not intended to get into the MP version, and has been removed for the next major patch.Cunningcairn wrote:Is this in Pydna only and are there any other such "controls" for example with affect combat capabilities?
