Soviet Corps campaign - no snow ?

Playing the defense of Moscow now but I see no snow on the tiles? Is this right or does one need some mod to get snow ? Thanks. (Got Panzer Corps Gold Edition).

You may start out with clear weather during the first few turns. Rest assured that the weather will soon turn to rain, mud and eventually snow. This should apply to the Moscow scenarios in the base campaign, the Grand Campaign as well as Soviet Corps. This will have a big impact on both sides. Good luck!
