The is our third game of FoG. Still getting a hang of the rules, but it is going faster each time.
The pictures are ok. Forgot my camera and had to use a cell-phone.

"Joe used the "starter" Italian Condotta list. I used a modified Medieval German starter list. "
So I assume about 600 points.

My old DBM army doesn't have the figs for a Med German "starter" army. I dropped a couple of spear, foot crossbow, and mounted crossbow and picked up two knights, four Hungarians, and six loose foot bow.
The starter armies are a great size for two people picking up the rules without a veteran to show them the way.

So far.....we regular opponents old farts do seem to help each other more than when we play "other rules". We do normally get in 5/6 turns in 3 to 3 & 1/2 hours. We have been finding the answers. We don't hold back "surprises" we find in the rules until we can use them when it's to our own favor(s).
I think the attitudes we have are in part because of the style of play that FoG's rules seem to call for/bring out in us.
