No, it's Kalach, the one after Vornonezh and before Caucuses.hrafnkolbrandr wrote:Is this the scenario after Caucuses?

Re: scenerio approaching stalingrad
Interesting. I just played that scenario and never got an opportunity to get a KV1.bru888 wrote:No, it's Kalach, the one after Vornonezh and before Caucuses.hrafnkolbrandr wrote:Is this the scenario after Caucuses?
Re: scenerio approaching stalingrad
Me too. I haven't got single KV-1 tank.
But I suppose that option appears when you start PK campaing after installing new patch.

You were not fast enough. I was neither and therefore got no KV. For the same reason I didn't get the T-34 in Kharkov '42.hrafnkolbrandr wrote: Interesting. I just played that scenario and never got an opportunity to get a KV1.

Re: scenerio approaching stalingrad
That is strange. I have finished nearly every scenario with plenty of turns to spare. Perhaps I just avoided the section of map I needed to be in? I use a lot of artillery, so I soften enemies up a lot. I take almost no losses, but perhaps it takes too long? Not sure how I can kill them much faster.CoolDTA wrote:You were not fast enough. Re: scenerio approaching stalingrad
Sorry, I was probably too vague. To get the reward you need to kill a KV-1 and a KV-2 no later than on turn 10. For the T-34 reward one must be killed on turn 5 at the latest. My style is often quite similar to yours. In these cases it might not be wise to suffer additional losses to get those tanks. Elite replacements are just so expensive if you have experienced troops.hrafnkolbrandr wrote: That is strange. I have finished nearly every scenario with plenty of turns to spare. Re: scenerio approaching stalingrad
Ah, okay. So it is like an unlisted bonus objective.
Those turn threshholds are fairly low, and I tend not togo out of my way to hunt units down to the death. Rather I whittle them down to 3 or 4 strength and let them fall back. It creates congestion for the enemy units, and when I catch back up to them they go down easy.
Thanks for the clarification.

Re: scenerio approaching stalingrad
No, I'm sorry. That's not what I intended. What I do is to point these things out to the developers to make their jobs easier (and to make sure that they get fixed). As I mentioned in the other thread where you asked this question, yes, you could fix it yourself but the developers should fix it in the official version in a future patch.jmiller23 wrote:so do i try and fix it myself? The problem often is that, if you do fix it yourself and they do not, your fix gets overwritten with the error again the next time they do patch the game for other reasons. So that is why we want them to fix bugs officially rather than doing it yourself.

Re: scenerio approaching stalingrad
awesome Ty for the reply. i guess the only question is should that be shown as a secondary objective, or is like a secret reward? i don't remember it being listed as a secondary. thanks again for all your help.
Re: scenerio approaching stalingrad
It's intended as something not being an outright objective. It's more like something players can discover.jmiller23 wrote:awesome Ty for the reply. i guess the only question is should that be shown as a secondary objective, or is like a secret reward? i don't remember it being listed as a secondary. thanks again for all your help.
I'm not dead-set against making this a secondary, but then ppl would race to get the KVs, and the requirements should be probably a tad harder IMO.
Re: scenerio approaching stalingrad
Please don't do that! Imo these surprises are very nice and should stay that way. I remember my first hidden reward in the US Pacific Pearl Harbour scenario. Very nice.bebro wrote:I'm not dead-set against making this a secondary, but then ppl would race to get the KVs, and the requirements should be probably a tad harder IMO.
Re: scenerio approaching stalingrad
