Blitzkrieg will not install

Re laptop (my desktop is a whole other story LOL)
Full updates all done - game runs fine when launched direct from the oob.exe file but black screen when launched from the autorun file... deleting the settings folder and rebooting does NOT solve that problem... Installed Rising Sun no problem! When try to install Blitzkrieg it seems to go through fine - asks for key code - installs - "finish" etc... but it does NOT appear on the campaign map and is NOT there!!!! Have tried several times... Any thoughts???????????

as now everyone so far has been sorted, have any of these other threads on the same subject not helped?

if not can i have your report please and i'll take a look at your hardware and settings and drivers dates etc and see why it's not worked for you


How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

once the report has been made, just attach it to your post with first adding the file to a zip, which is then permitted to attach to the forum

Came up with several thoughts... My campaign screen is NOT showing any of the latter DLCs, only Rising Sun, US Pacific, Morning Sun, and Winter War....therefore I must NOT be getting to the updated game by launching from the oob.exe file but rather am launching the early version???? 4.6.9.4xxxx is what the properties detail on that file says..... the folder does show the file oob-ww2_64.exe as well but game does not launch from that one...

When I hit the check for updates it tells me that I have the latest version .... and will not update further....

And I already know that my systems are on the older/weaker side of things but both RS and Blitzkrieg installed and ran fine for a few weeks until I recently tried upgrades - after which I uninstalled everything and put back in my original downloads - and can not get Blitzkrieg back in...
