Unpublished Allies

Would it be possible to have an online reference point for unpublished allies that armies currently in print can have ? It seems a shame that you can have the figures for an army, but not be able to run it in tournament play because the ally is not published. Obviously this surmises that tourney organizers would allow any FoG posted allies in the event they were running.
