User Interface Improvements

Post by ggarynorman »

Would it be possible in Multiplayer Mode for the direction and tilt of view to be retained from player turn to turn? At present, I am playing catch up, reestablishing the settings I had as the action progresses. Failing this would it be possible for the opposing player turn replay to commence when commanded to do so?

Thanks

Gary

Two small but kind of irritating issues. Sometimes on army deployment mode a unit assigned to a particular command will not have its tiled grey'd out when the command is selected. It confuses me sometimes and it seems to have something to do with the rough ground tile.

Also, when assigning units to a general (or whatever), when you click on a unit that is near the bottom of the screen, the options are displayed vertically downwards from the unit even if some of the buttons will be now off screen. You have to unselect the unit, pan the camera so that the unit isn't near the bottom and will populate the entire menu on screen. Minor minor thing but in the current situation where I am sometimes gaming the system to max out generals, it involves a lot of moving units back and forth from commands and this occurs with some frequency.

Those are units that are not in command range. They still have a gold border round their tile.

Yeah, we would like that too. It is on the engine wishlist.

I was wondering about the possibility of deceased generals being listed in the end of battle results. At the moment I'm having to make notes as I go.

Nice. As you may have guessed, I couldn't wait until Christmas. :)
