game will not load

I have been playing FOG II for 4 days, was able to play in the morning that night I went to have a turn and the game will not even load, I get a message "app cant run on your PC" What's happened?

I am guessing those are not the exact words from the error message

Try deleting or renaming the OPTIONS.TXT file from My Documents/My Games/FieldOfGlory2 before running the game.
