
While working on a new version for my Sound Mod and playing around with gunpowder smoke animations, it came to my mind that adding some mild gore to the game ... well, might do no harm.
Maybe that's fricking tasteless, but after all P&S is a wargame and yours truely not really a vegetarian ...

What's the function of this mod?
Apart from adding some spice to the game it makes ongoing melees much more recognizable, especially from a distance (see screenshot below). The blood is visible not only during the melee phase but constantly through the AI and player's turns till the melee is resolved and ended.
The mod uses P&S vanilla graphics plus the (recoloured) Tile_InCombat DDS file from SJ.

Installation:
Put the files into Pike and Shot Campaigns/Data/UI/Textures/Battle. Make a backup copy of the original files!
Start the game.
Go to Options/Advanced Options.
IMPORTANT! Turn Facing Markers off! Otherwise the mod won't work correctly and you will have blood all over the place ...
And have fun ... or not.
