Campaign game save and reload

Guys,

I appear to be missing the basics of saving and re-opening a campaign game.

I just began battle 2 of a campaign played four turns, saved the game (or thought I had) and then closed Field of Glory II.

When I re-opened the game and attempted to re-open the campaign game where I'd left off, I sent to a page telling me I had to go back and play the last stage again - which in turn sent me back to the set-up and assign troops stage of the game I had already started.

Hope that makes sense.

And any ideas?

The game autosaves after a campaign battle, which may produce odd results if you did not finish the battle then load the autosave.

So you need to make sure you load back your manual save and not the autosave.
