Switch command + Elephants + Animations

Post by Gribeauval »

I have readen quickly the manual.

What represents the order called "Switch command" ? Is it used for the roman army (princeps replacing hastati in the frontline) ?

There are elephants in the game : do they rampage when they are broken ?

Can the player disable the animations of the units (to play the game on an old computer for example) ?

Best regards.

No, it is used to reorganise the army during deployment - i.e. assign units to different general's command.

This is represented by units within 2 squares have to test cohesion when elephants break. (When other units break the range is only 1 square).

No.

ah good, saw sometimes in the videos that with mass movement command, sometimes different units moved together... good to know this could be treated in deployment..

Yes, sometimes the video makers move the units about at deployment, but forget to switch their command to match their new position in the line.
