scenario.pzscn format

Post by enric »

As the Mac version has not editor, the only way to modify some simple scenarios is to modify directly the name.pzscn file.

To be able to do that and make more balanced scenarios for MP, I need to have access to the format of the file .pzscn. In that way I would create an interface that will allow modify those parameters (unit, position, prestige, etc.). But the file (.pzscn) looks as a garbage opened by an text editor and I can't guess where these values are.

Anyone knows the format of such file?

Hi Enric! pzscn file is a binary file containing all scenario data (map, units, scripts etc.) So far, we have not released any documentation for this format. If you are seriously considering to create certain tools working with it, you can contact me directly via rudankort@yandex.ru and we will try to figure out something. Have you already tried running PC editor under Wine?
